Biography and Medical Education
Dr. Gökay Bilgin is an Istanbul-based general practitioner, ISHRS associate member, co-founder and managing director of Smile Hair Clinic, with Cerrahpaşa medical graduation in 2007.
Bilgin studied at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine from 1998 to 2007. No completed formal residency specialty is documented; certificates in aesthetic medicine, hair transplantation, mesotherapy and phytotherapy are therefore recorded as additional training rather than a medical specialty.
He completed compulsory service in Amasya, worked at Medical Park Health Group and later joined Medicana Health Group, where he worked in hair transplantation, medical-process management and an assistant-chief-physician role reported in his professional biography.
In 2018 he co-founded Smile Hair Clinic with Dr. Mehmet Erdoğan. Current clinic material lists Bilgin as co-founder, managing director, hair-transplant physician and medical-aesthetics practitioner in Ümraniye, Istanbul.
