Biography and Medical Education
Specialist Dr. Ümit Akpınar is an Ankara-based dermatologist and hair-transplant surgeon at Civas & Akpınar Hair Transplant Clinic, with Hacettepe medical graduation in 2015 and Dermatology specialization completed in 2020.
Akpınar graduated with high honours from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine's English program in 2015. His published academic record notes the Prof. Dr. Şeref Zileli achievement award and sixth place nationally in the 2016 Medical Specialty Examination.
He completed Dermatology residency through Ankara Numune Training and Research Hospital and Ankara City Hospital, became a specialist in 2020 and completed compulsory service at Bartın State Hospital from 2020 to 2022.
Since 2022 he has practiced at the Ankara clinic now presented as Civas & Akpınar. His publication and teaching record includes hair disorders, cicatricial alopecia, follicular-unit excision and dermatologic surgery.

The clinic separately states that its head nurse technician performs extraction and that nurse technicians perform implantation under doctor supervision.
